National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Assistant Administrator for Satellite and Information Services (NESDIS Administrator) Dr. Stephen Volz led a delegation on a visit to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) on 29 October 2018.

Highlighting the importance of long-standing NESDIS/JMA collaboration on satellite operations, Dr. Volz discussed the current status of relevant satellite systems and the future of related observation with key JMA staff.
