European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT) Director-General Mr. Alain Ratier led a delegation on a visit to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) on 2 November 2015.

Mr. Ratier and the delegation paid a courtesy visit to JMA Director-General Noritake Nishide and gave a presentation on monitoring weather and the climate from space. The leaders engaged in discussions on future collaboration in the field of meteorological satellite services.
