The Second Regional Operational Meteorological (OPMET) Data Banks Coordination Meeting in Tokyo, Japan (31 January - 1 February 2008)

RODB group photo   The Japan Meteorological Agency hosted the Second Regional OPMET Data Banks (RODB) Coordination Meeting of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Asia and Pacific Office from 31 January to 1 February 2008 in Tokyo. The main purposes of the RODBs are to facilitate a regular exchange of OPMET information within the Asia and Pacific Regions and to provide users with access to the stored OPMET data. Participants from Australia, Thailand, Japan and ICAO Asia and Pacific Office reviewed the operational status of RODB, and discussed the improvement of exchanging OPMET data.
