Landline dissemination service (JPEG) - Internet (FTP) -This service provides MTSAT's low-resolution imagery in JPEG format to registered National Meteorological and Hydrological Services (NMHSs) through the Internet at no cost. Full-disk imagery of visible and infrared channels is available every hour, while rectangular and polar-stereographic imagery from those channels is available at 30-minute intervals (N.B. polar-stereographic imagery covers East Asia only). All imagery is available within 15 minutes of observation.

How to use the landline dissemination service (JPEG)
|NMHSs wishing to receive JPEG photographic image files through the landline dissemination service (JPEG) need a PC/workstation, FTP software and an Internet connection. Please read the guidelines and send application form to JMA for the registration.
