Landline dissemination service (HRIT) - Internet (FTP) -This service provides MTSAT's high-resolution imagery in HRIT format to registered National Meteorological and Hydrological Services through the Internet at no cost. Currently, almost all imagery obtained by MTSAT is available in two parts (Northern and Southern Hemisphere) about three minutes after observation.

How to start receiving HRIT imagery
|NMHSs wishing to receive HRIT data through the landline dissemination service (HRIT) need a PC/workstation, FTP software and a broadband Internet connection. Please read the guidelines and send application form to JMA for the registration.
