National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Assistant Administrator for Satellite and Information Services Dr. Stephen Volz led a delegation on a visit to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) on 2 November 2015.

Dr. Volz and the delegation paid a courtesy visit to JMA Director-General Noritake Nishide and engaged in discussions on future collaboration in the field of meteorological satellite services.

They were also given a tour of JMA operational centers and attended presentations given by experts from the Agency's forecast and observation department.
