Distribution Forecast   Shown here are weather, temperature, rainfall and snowfall expected to prevail at each 20km x 20km grid.

Three-hourly Forecast   This forecast is comprised of weather expected to prevail in the forecast area, typical wind in the area, and temperature at the city in the left of the forecast.
This forecast is issued with three hours as a unit, and updated at 5:00, 11:00 and 17:00 JST every day, and whenever necessary.

(Example: Osaka)

Aeolian Dust Information   Marked in the observation map are the weather stations in East Asia (20-50, 110-150ーE) which observed aeolian dust or local sand/dust haze during the day.
The figure is updated whenever new data become available.
The prediction is issued for thick aeolian dust area (where visibility is lower than 10km) at every 1.25 degrees X 1.25 degrees grid, when weather stations in East Asia (20 - 50ーN, 110 - 150ーE) observe aeolian dust or local sand/dust haze during past two days.
For this reason, thin aeolian dust may be observed in areas where aeolian dust is not predicted.
The prediction is updated at around 5 am every day.

Seasonal Forecast   One-month (Example: Temperature) and Three-month (Example: Temperature) Forecasts are issued at 14:30 JST every Friday and at 14:00 JST on around 25th of every month, respectively.
Warm and Cold Season Outlooks are issued in February and September, respectively, concurrently with Three-month Forecasts.
Further detailed forecasts are available in the Japanese page.
