User's Guide to Real-Time Information

 B  Breadcrumbs list (or topic path)
This list shows what part of the website you are looking at.
You can also jump to upper layers of the page by clicking the relevant breadcrumb section.

 C  Dropdown list to display other information on the area
This dropdown list shows other weather/earthquake information available for the area.
You can access the information by selecting the name of the data you want to look at.
As an example, after viewing the daily forecast for Tokyo, you can jump to information such as Tokyo's weekly forecast and weather advisories/warnings.
Please note that some information is provided in nationwide display format only.

 D  Print button
Click this button to print the page without sub-menu.
Please use the browser's print function to change paper size/orientation or magnification as required.

 E  Dropdown list for selecting area
This is a dropdown list for selecting the area (e.g. Japan, Tokyo or Hokkaido).
Some pages have a dropdown list for selecting prefectures in addition to this dropdown list.

 F  Time selection controls
You can move to information for the desired timeframe by choosing the time from the dropdown list, or move to the previous/next image for the same set of information by clicking the "<" or ">" buttons.

 G  Movie controls
Some content includes a movie function that enables the animation to be played/stopped or a particular time range to be set.
You can also go to the previous/next image for the same set of information by clicking the "<" or ">" buttons.

 H  Image display
Real-time information is shown as images and/or text on this part of the web page.
By clicking the map/imagery, you can zoom in, magnify a map or jump to a more detailed web page.

 I  Notes
Notes provide brief captions for the real-time information displayed.
This part includes points for attention, as well as when and how often the information will be updated.
Please read this part carefully to enable optimum use of the information.

You can jump to the pages which that include more detailed explanation of the real-time information.
